About Polly

Hey there!

So you want to know a little more about me do ya?

Well, here goes nothing..

I’m Polly. I’ve been told I have a good laugh. Here’s proof.

You can probably tell that I’m in a wedding dress in that picture.

Yep. It’s true. I’m married.

Here’s proof of that too…

That’s the real thing caught on film, folks. Austin proposed in May of 2009. We got hitched October 2009.

Four month engagement. We should have done it in two. Either way, we’re still happy.

Back in October, we found out we had a baby on the way. Adelyn Grace Conner is due June 19th. Here’s the full story if your interested.

We live in Mid-Missouri in this house. I’m in a constant state of nesting. I think I always will be. I love owning a home. Most of the time anyway.

I have a great family. I’m the middle child of the three kiddos. And yes, I had middle child syndrome. Big time. I think I turned out OK though.

Here are my besties. Aren’t they beautiful? We call ourselves “The Council.” We’ve pretty much made a commitment to be friends for life. We currently live in 5 very different places but we make it work. Love these girls.

We have two doggies that we love way too much.

This is Chauncey. He’s a dweeb. Makes us laugh all the time.

And this is Sophie. She’s the queen bee around the house if you can’t tell from the picture.

I work as the director of Student Ministries at a church called The Crossing. Been doing that for 5 years now.

When we have Adelyn, I plan to work part time.

Austin works for a college ministry called, Veritas. He is also attending Covenant Theological Seminary. He’s in his first of 5 years. Yikes.

I’m an outdoorsy, active girl. Colorado is where I would rather be on a regular basis. But I like Missouri too.

I started this blog in 2009. My style and things I write about is in a constant state of evolving. About a year ago, I stumbled into the world of crafty blogs and have my life has never been the same.

Well, I think that covers the basics.

Thanks for taking an interest in my life!
